X-Ray Filing
General Information
For operating ease, file folder sections have bottom shelf 5 1/2"
above floor and x-ray sections 4" above floor. Closed base keeps trash
or folder papers from underneath.
Each shelf is divided into 5 compartments - 7" wide x 14 3/4" clear height x 17 1/2" deep,
and each level will carry 400 to 500 typical records in envelopes. Construction is all steel framing with medium density fiberboard shelf panels and "Duron" dividers. One starting section begins each row. Remaining sections in same row are all add on sections. Upright frames have white melamine covered panels for closure, plastic end caps for tops and bottoms of posts, and are shipped assembled. Remainder of assembly requires only a hammer - parts just hook together Clear opening between shelves 9 3/4" for 9 1/2" high file folders, or 14 3/4" for 14 1/2" high x-ray folders. Rear backstop bar keeps folder aligned in front. Diagonal back brace for all starting sections, except 3' high. (not required for add on sections) One starting section begins each row. Remaining sections in same row are add-on sections.
